THE ROCK HEART

Being able to see the good things within the bad are always challenging, especially when you have a bad temper like me. But when you do, the world would seem like a whole better place. I remember when I went for a hike and my lungs were craving for air begging me to stop! And all I did was to look down on my feet and keep walking because I was EXHAUSTED! Until all of a sudden, I froze. Mesmerized by the heart-shaped rock in front of my feet. Then I looked up and saw the scenery, it was breathtaking! I looked back at the rock again and thought, 

    "How many people who came here have actually SEEN the heart-shaped rock?",

 

   "Did everybody enjoy the scenery and did not bother to look down on what is on their feet?"

 

   "Perhaps they are just care less on both?"

 

    This made me realised that different people will see things differently regardless if they walk on the same journey. But this does not mean that they are wrong. It is simply because you have not seen through their perspectives. So when you have gone through hard times, just remember, ‘pause’. There will always be beauty embedded within the rocky pathway. You may not know what you might encounter along the way that could make your journey priceless. Might as well enjoy the view!
